inger-guitart John Puckett is one of the most versitle and populuar entertainers on the circuit today. From colleges to country clubs, neighborhood block parties and weddings, corporate events to cruise ships, John has fascinated audeinces with his energetic and unique style of performing. With a seeming endless repertoire of popular music and rock n' roll originals, his fun loving style makes listeners feel comfortable to request their favorites, sing-a-long, or just listen. John Puckett is literally a one man show and has a great rapport with any audience.
Over the years, John has been awarded top honors in the "In Pittsburgh Magazine" Music Poll for best acoustic entertainer and best vocalist. Of three songs he submitted to the Music City Song Festival in Nashville, two made their way into the top ten in that National Songwriters Contest. Most recently, one of John's songs made it to #11 in the American Idol Songwriting Competition.
